A look ahead to our final game of the season

We've finally managed to play some rugby! We had two friendly matches in May, vs Warminster and Walcot II. Both games we came away with the win, which we were very pleased with! #unbeatenseason

Our final game of the 2020/21 "season" will be a friendly against Ashley Down on Saturday June 5th, kickoff 2.30pm at Old Sulians. Our training sessions since lockdown 3 have been better than ever, we've had new players come up to the club and there's a real sense of momentum building to the new season starting in September. We're hoping to capitalise on this next weekend, and cap off what has been a rubbish year for rugby with a third win on the trot.

Once again we will be playing the adapted ruleset as specified by England Rugby. It's the standard game with no mauls or scrums. We have found that these changes have led to a lot of faster sections of play, but broken up by more penalties and turnovers. It's definitely taken some getting used to!

We are now allowed to have bar service after the game, so please come lend us your support and stick around afterwards!
